Cooking With Weed: Pot Pizza

If you’re feeling extra adventurous this 4/20, what better place to find yourself other than in the kitchen. Why settle for Wings or Insomnia when you can whip up some delicious, cannabis-infused munchies. So please, be our guest and test the waters with this recipe for “Pot Pizza.” It only takes 40 minutes to cook, so grab your ingredients, roll another one and enjoy this glorious holiday. After all, you can have your weed and eat it too.

Pot Pizza 

Ingredients:

  • 1 prepared pizza dough
  • 1 cup cannabis pizza sauce (recipe below)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Romano cheese, shredded
  • Toppings of your choice

Directions:

Preheat oven and prepare pizza dough following the instructions on the package. Spread cannabis pizza sauce evenly on top of the dough. Sprinkle with copious amounts of cheese, add extra toppings and bake for 18 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.


Cannabis Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 can tomato paste (6 ounces)
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup CannaOil (http://eatyourcannabis.com/cannaoil/)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon basil
  • ½ tablespoon oregano
  • ½ tablespoon rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Directions:

In a small saucepan on medium-high heat, mix ingredients together and bring mixture to a light boil. Turn the heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove the pan from heat and let cool in the refrigerator for two hours.
