Breakfast in a dorm can be difficult to navigate. Oats and yogurt bowls are easy, nourishing options for dorm life, but after a while, they can get old. With a few ingredients, you can make your morning oats taste like fresh banana bread. Follow this quick and easy recipe to start your day off with warm banana bread oats!
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup oats
- ½ tablespoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons water
- Pinch of salt
Toppings:
- Greek yogurt
- Nut butters
- Sliced fruit
- Seeds
- Honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, mash the banana with a fork. Add the egg and water. Mix until combined.
- Mix in the cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the oats and combine thoroughly
- Place in the microwave for 2-3 minutes
- Top with Greek yogurt and toppings
