We know that liking vegetables can be hard. However, they are still a key food group to help you get all the nutrients your body needs. Still don’t like them? Don’t worry, we are here to help.
A little background: This recipe is from my roommate Sky Davidson, who is a huge fan of eating healthy. She once confessed to me that she doesn’t like vegetables and makes this smoothie to “trick her body into eating more vegetables.” This phrase got stuck in my head and I realized that, in fact, many people can relate. That’s why, with Sky’s permission, I’m sharing this recipe with you.
- Frozen peaches
- Apricot “stomp” juice (or any other fruit juice of choice)
Take your peaches out of the freezer and let them warm up for about 10 minutes. Then put them in the blender. Add the whole bottle of apricot juice (if a small one), half a package of spinach, and a banana. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
