Netflix Cooking and Baking Shows You’ll Love to Binge Watch

by Yana Bychkova

Cooking is not always fun. But how about watching other people cook? So much better, right? Whether you like cooking or not, you will definitely enjoy these cooking shows Netflix has to offer. So go grab some popcorn and get ready for a new season of bingeing the top five Netflix cooking shows.

The Great British Baking Show

The Great British Baking Show is about a group of amateur bakers fighting to be named the best bakers in the U.K. The show is a follow-up of 10 episodes where the candidates are trying to impress judges by making impeccable desserts. The judges, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, test competitors’ baking skills on different cakes and pastries.

Zumbo’s Just Desserts

Zumbo’s Just Desserts is an Australian reality baking show where contestants make multi-layered cakes and richly flavored desserts. The hosts of the baking show are Adriano Zumbo and Rachel Khoo, who try all the desserts themselves. Whoever performs the worst is chosen to make the hardest dessert and has to complete it during the limited amount of time.

Best Leftovers Ever!

Best Leftovers Ever! is a new type of cooking show where three contestants are trying their best in turning take-out meals and yesterday’s leftovers into something you would actually want to eat. This show is different from other cooking shows Netflix has to offer because it truly gives people ideas on how to turn their leftover pasta or french fries into an amazingly tasty dish.

Sugar Rush

Sugar Rush is a famous American cooking show where four teams of two professional bakers compete for a $10,000 prize. They have to complete their baking assignments in three rounds: first cupcakes, second confections, and third cakes. Sugar Rush also has a series of spin-offs called Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet and Sugar Rush: Christmas.

Nailed it!

Nailed it! is one of the funniest baking shows on Netflix simply because it doesn’t involve anyone with professional baking skills. All bakers are just regular people who cook at home! Their task, however, is to recreate elaborate cakes and recipes for a $10,000 prize. Which mostly results in a total disaster, but it’s definitely funny to watch!
