You might have never seen Sex and the City, but you have certainly heard of Carrie Bradshaw. An iconic character to the world of fashion and New York City nightlife, Carrie defined a generation of women through her friendships, Monolo’s, and cocktails. 

Most notoriously, Carrie and her friends enjoyed a Cosmopolitan (or two). This pink drink became a staple in the 90’s and remains popular today. We’ve perfected this tart, yet refreshing recipe.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz vodka – we prefer regular Absolut or Grey Goose, but any type of vodka will do.

1 oz cointreau or triple sec – any orange liqueur adds citrusy undertones. 

.5 oz lime juice – fresh or from a bottle, we don’t judge!

.5 oz simple syrup – rounds out the tartness with sweetness.

1.75oz cranberry juice – what gives this cocktail its signature look. 

Whether it’s a girls’ night in or a night out on the town, this drink promises a fun and vibrant time. Give it a try for your next happy hour;  it’s a crowd-pleaser and an upgrade from your typical vodka-cran. Cheers!
